Brewers' Brandon Sproat: Slow start in no-decision
Sproat did not factor into the decision in Friday's 9-7 extra-inning win over the Rockies, allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks with two strikeouts over five innings.
Sproat gave up a run in each of the first three innings before finishing with two scoreless frames, throwing just 51 of 87 pitches for strikes and yielding 11 hard-hit balls. It was the 25-year-old's longest outing since logging 5.1 innings May 12, though he's now allowed at least three earned runs in five straight starts during that stretch. He'll take a 6.17 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 54:29 K:BB over 54 innings into a road matchup against the Athletics next week.

Ryan Feltner SP | COL
Rockies' Ryan Feltner: Goes six strong in no-decision
Feltner did not factor into the decision in Friday's 9-7 extra-inning loss to the Brewers, allowing one run on one hit and two walks with four strikeouts over six innings.
Feltner allowed a run in the second inning but otherwise kept a dangerous Brewers lineup in check, throwing 51 of 81 pitches for strikes while generating eight whiffs. The outing gave the 29-year-old back-to-back quality starts, both of which have come at Coors Field, since returning from the injured list Saturday. He owns a 4.22 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 23:10 K:BB across 32 innings this season and lines up for another home matchup against the Cubs next week.

Michael Wacha SP | KC
Royals' Michael Wacha: Stumbles late in loss
Wacha (4-4) took the loss against the Twins on Friday, allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits and no walks with two strikeouts over 5.2 innings.
Wacha entered the sixth inning at just 54 pitches with a 2-1 lead, but he unraveled for four runs while failing to complete the frame. After reeling off five straight quality starts from May 4 through May 25, the veteran right-hander has surrendered 10 earned runs over his past two outings. He still owns a solid 3.44 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 67:26 K:BB across 81 innings and will take those numbers into a home matchup against the Rangers next week.

Zebby Matthews SP | MIN
Twins' Zebby Matthews: Rebounds for second win
Matthews (2-3) earned the win against the Royals on Friday, allowing two runs on five hits and four walks with two strikeouts over seven innings.
Matthews yielded two runs in the first inning but kept the Royals off the board over his final six frames despite throwing just 57 of 100 pitches for strikes and generating only six whiffs. The final line was a welcome rebound from the seven-run blowup he endured Sunday, and the 26-year-old has now recorded a quality start in four of his five outings this season. He'll take a 4.15 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 26:8 K:BB across 30.1 innings into a road matchup against the Tigers next week.

Brady Singer SP | CIN
Reds' Brady Singer: Loses fourth straight
Singer (2-6) took the loss against the Cardinals on Friday, allowing four runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks with six strikeouts over four innings.
Singer allowed runs in three different frames and struggled with his command, throwing just 49 of 89 pitches for strikes. While only one of the three runs he allowed Friday was earned, the 29-year-old has now surrendered at least three runs in six straight starts, a stretch in which he's gone 0-5 while yielding 12 home runs. He'll carry a disappointing 5.89 ERA, 1.69 WHIP and 42:19 K:BB across 55 innings this season into a road matchup against the Padres next week.

Leahy surrendered three runs in the first inning but was able to rebound with three scoreless frames before departing at 79 pitches. While the 29-year-old has allowed just four earned runs over his past two starts, he's managed only 8.1 innings during that stretch. For the year, he owns a 4.42 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 47:24 K:BB across 59 innings and lines up for a road start against the Mets next week.

Brandon Young SP | BAL
Orioles' Brandon Young: Another quality start
Young (4-1) earned the win against Toronto on Friday, allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out four across 6.1 innings. He did not issue a walk.

Young stayed in the game and pitched into the seventh frame, ending his night with 64 strikes on 85 pitches (75.3 percent strike rate) while logging seven groundouts and 22 first-pitch strikes (to 25 batters). He has registered three consecutive quality starts and is up to four on the season, which has Young sitting at a 3.47 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 37:17 K:BB across 49.1 innings. He's slated to make his next start next week at home against the Mariners.

Trey Yesavage SP | TOR
Blue Jays' Trey Yesavage: Falls apart in sixth frame
Yesavage (2-3) took the loss against the Orioles on Friday, allowing six runs on fits hits and two walks while striking out five across 5.2 innings.
Yesavage was excellent through the first five innings of Friday's start outside of a solo home run that he yielded to Adley Rutschman in the first. Yesavage was brought back out for the sixth, but he did not come away with the quality start after giving up five runs in the frame, with his night coming to an end after giving up a two-run homer to Coby Mayo. Yesavage has allowed at least five runs in two of his last three starts and sits at a 3.16 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 44:19 K:BB across 42.2 innings this season. His next start is slated for next weekend at home against the Yankees.

Drew Rasmussen SP | TB
Rays' Drew Rasmussen: Bounces back against Miami
Rasmussen (5-2) earned the win against the Marlins on Friday, allowing one hit and zero walks while striking out nine across seven scoreless innings. He did not issue a walk.
Rasmussen was looking to bounce back from his last outing against the Angels on Saturday, when he gave up five runs over four innings. He did so in convincing fashion Friday, limiting the Marlins to just one baserunner while logging a season-high nine strikeouts. It was the sixth quality start of the season for Rasmussen, whose 0.92 WHIP over 66 innings is second-best in the American League among qualified starters, behind only Cam Schlittler (0.86). Rasmussen is slated to make his next start next week at home against the Red Sox.

Ryan Weathers SP | NYY
Yankees' Ryan Weathers: Gives up five runs in loss
Weathers (2-4) took the loss against Boston on Friday, allowing five runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out four across six innings.
It was the fourth time in 12 starts this season that Weathers has given up five runs, three of which have come over his last four outings. He had some command issues Friday with just 11 first-pitch strikes to 26 batters, and it was the fourth time this season that he gave up at least two home runs in a game. Weathers' recent form has him sitting at a 3.86 ERA and 1.16 WHIP across 70 innings this season, but his 79 strikeouts are tied for sixth-most in the American League. He's lined up to face the Guardians on the road next week.
