  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Absent from practice again

Mims (foot) was a non-participant at the Broncos' practice Thursday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official website reports.

Mims has now missed back-to-back practices to open the week while dealing with a foot injury. The wide receiver will have one more chance to practice Friday before the team hosts Jacksonville on Sunday. If Mims can't go against the Jaguars, it would carry the largest impact on special teams for Denver.

  • Broncos' RJ Harvey: Officially limited Thursday

Harvey (hamstring) was limited at Thursday's practice, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Harvey opened Week 2 prep with no listed activity on Wednesday's injury report due to a hamstring issue, but one day later he upgraded his workload enough to go down as a limited participant. Ultimately, Friday's practice report will unveil whether or not he heads into the weekend without a designation for Sunday's contest against the Jaguars. In Monday's loss at Kansas City, Harvey paced Denver's backfield with 26 offensive snaps (to J.K. Dobbins' 22), but Harvey managed just seven touches for 41 yards from scrimmage, while Dobbins turned eight carries into 36 yards.

  • Broncos' RJ Harvey: Taking part in Thursday's practice

Harvey (hamstring) is present at practice Thursday, Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports reports.

Harvey was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, but he's set to participate in at least some capacity now that Denver's actually holding practice Thursday. The 2025 second-round pick turned seven touches into 41 yards from scrimmage in Monday's loss to the Chiefs and got all four targets among Denver's running backs while J.K. Dobbins took most of the rushing work. Harvey's availability bears monitoring ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Jaguars.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: DNP on Wednesday

Mims (foot) did not practice Wednesday.

Mims was injured in Monday night's loss to the Chiefs but was able to return to the game, though he saw zero targets while playing just nine offensive snaps. The receiver's role seems to be mainly on special teams while everyone is healthy ahead of him on the depth chart.

  • Broncos' RJ Harvey: Dealing with hamstring issue

Harvey (hamstring) was estimated as a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Chris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette reports.

Since Denver played Monday night, Wednesday was not an official practice. However, Harvey would not have participated if there had been a practice, according to Tomasson. The second-year running back is dealing with a hamstring issue that will be monitored throughout the remainder of the week. This is particularly notable with Denver on a short week. If Harvey is limited or unable to play Sunday against the Jaguars, it would open more opportunities for J.K. Dobbins and Jonah Coleman.

  • Broncos' Talanoa Hufanga: Six tackles in blowout loss

Hufanga made six tackles (two solo) in Monday's 31-10 loss to the Chiefs.

Hufanga played all 67 of the Broncos' defensive snaps in Monday's loss. The safety also played 21 percent of the team's snaps on special teams, logging five reps on kick and punt return coverage. Hufanga had a relatively solid night outside of a missed tackle on rookie running back Emmett Johnson at the start of the fourth quarter.
