Celtics' Paul George: Heading to Boston
The Celtics traded Jaylen Brown to the 76ers on Wednesday in exchange for George, two first-round picks and two second-round picks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
After two injury-filled years with the 76ers, the star forward will join the Celtics. The star forward has reached the 70-game mark just once over his last seven regular seasons, but he'll now get the opportunity to function as Jayson Tatum's running mate in a big role for the Celtics. George averaged 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.7 steals in 30.7 minutes per contest over 37 regular-season games in 2025-26.

Celtics' Mitchell Robinson: Lands with Celtics
Robinson agreed to a three-year, $47.4 million deal to sign with the Celtics on Wednesday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
The Knicks were priced out of a reunion due to their tax concerns, so the Celtics will swoop in and sign the defensive-minded center. Robinson does have durability concerns related to his ankles, but he will likely be the favorite to start on Opening Night ahead of Neemias Queta. This move could be great news for Robinson's fantasy appeal moving forward.

Celtics' Mike Conley: To join Boston
Conley will join the Celtics on a one-year deal, Shams Charania of ESPN reports Wednesday.
Conley will become the 14th player in NBA history to reach 20 seasons. The Celtics currently have Derrick White and Payton Pritchard on their depth chart at point guard, so Conley will be penciled in as the third string. During the 2025-26 regular season with Minnesota, Conley averaged 4.5 points and 2.9 assists in 18.4 minutes per contest.

Celtics' Hugo Gonzalez: Set for plenty of reps this summer
Gonzalez plans to play both FIBA qualifiers for Spain and in the Summer League for the Celtics, per Bobby Manning of Celtics on CLNS.
Gonzalez appears to be staying active this summer in preparation for his second NBA season in the fall. With Jaylen Brown's standing in Boston very much in limbo this offseason, Gonzalez could be thrust into a more significant role in 2026-27 if Brown is indeed traded away.
